EP Review: Dohny Jep: Smile, It Might Never Happen

‘The mix of grinding guitars, crashing drums and fire-fuelled vocals results in an unavoidable current of sound.’

‘All our songs have something that we are feeling, or want to say to the world within them – even if it’s not immediately clear.’

‘Elegiacally spellbinding and saturated with indie-rock undertones, it’s the perfect musical pick me up.’

‘Tantalising and wonderfully lo-fi, it provides balmy respite from the never-ending bleakness of January.’

‘A potent mix of seething guitars and off-kilter lyrics leaves you haunted by disequilibrium.’

‘Proving how sonically self-assured they truly are, you’ll never be fully prepared for the blossoming musicality.’
